Anna Lucia Pinto

Anna Lucia Pinto holds a M.A. in Development economics and International cooperation, with further post graduate studies in Management of development. She has over nine years of experience as project manager, working for governmental and non-governmental organizations, on gender equality and women’s empowerment, human rights, youth promotion, research and culture for development, in Africa and Latin America. She worked for 5 years at the European Commission, Directorate for International Cooperation and Development, in charge of gender equality policies, education and social inclusion. Anna Lucia is currently the coordinator of the SouthMed WiA project at Interarts.

Alessia Sonaglioni

With a long standing experience as media lawyer and programme manager at the Council of Europe, she joined Eurimages in 2010 as project manager gaining experience in legal and financial issues linked to European films coproductions. She is also a certified coach and a human rights expert. Her engagement for gender equality comes mainly from her human rights background. She strongly believes that women, half of the world population, should have the same opportunities to tell their stories, express themselves and their own talents, and have their stories heard. EWA Network director since February 2016.

Henning Camre

Henning Camre has a background in cinematography and anthropology. From 1975 principal of the Danish National Film School and from 1992 principal and chief executive of the National Film and Television School, UK. 1998 saw him returning to Denmark to head the reorganization of the new Danish Film Institute responsible for the Governments film policy.

As vice-president of CILECT – the international organisation of film schools – he established a programme for initiating and supporting training in the developing world often in collaboration with UNESCO. In 2009 he set up the Screen Institute Beirut association to support production of independent documentary films in the MENA region.

Noura Nefzi

Noura Nefzi has a PhD in design science and technology, she is a graduate in audiovisual and multimedia, then in audiovisual and cinema techniques, and in image design. Since 2004, she has joined the film and audiovisual industry as a technician. She has facilitated editing and production workshops in cultural and artistic events.

Currently, she is a researcher in Cinéma, design and new technologies and a teacher at the Ecole Supérieure de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma in Gammarth (ESAC). She is also a film editor and technical and artistic consultant for Tunisian and foreigners projects.

Elena Chiaberge

After a Master Degree in Communication and Multimedia at the University of Turin, Italy, Elena Chiaberge has worked in the communication field for two years. She approached the audiovisual international cooperation in 2009, starting to work at COPEAM (Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators), where she is currently in charge of gender equality and communication activities.

Elena has participated and coordinated several projects on Advancing Gender Equality in Media Industries, strengthening the capacity of the southern Mediterranean public broadcasters in favour of gender equality, women’s empowerment through the media.

She is member of the UNESCO’s Global Alliance on Media and Gender.

Ignasi Guardans

Senior Expert Specialized in protection and promotion of diversity of cultural expressions, cultural management, ICT and digitalization. Mr. Guardans is a former deputy of the Spanish Parliament in which he has been official Spokesman at the Culture Committee of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the European Union Affairs Committee. After this political career, he has consecutively been Director General of Spain’s Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA) and then became the first Director for Public Affairs at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). After this, he worked as an independent consultant and expert for the European Commission in the field of cultural and creative industries.
